Join Women of the Water, a women-only club based in Crane Lake, and Juli Ponder, Voyageurs Conservancy Board Member and former director of the University of Minnesota Raptor Center, for a unique opportunity to learn about eagle populations and research in Voyageurs National Park. Juli will lead the group to known nesting locations, with the potential to observe both adult eagles and their young eaglets in the wild.

Tentative Schedule:
2:00 PM: Meet at Voyageurs Guide Service Outfitter Shop
2:30-3:00 PM: Load boats, boat out to eagle nesting sites
3:00-4:30 PM: View nesting locations, presentation by Juli Ponder, Q&A
4:30-5:00 PM: Boat back to Voyageurs Guide Service Outfitter Shop
In the event of rain or bad weather, Juli will give a presentation & Q&A about eagle nesting, banding, and trends in Voyageurs National Park.
No RSVP required, women of all ages are welcome!
Participants will be required to sign a waiver before departing.
