Hear the music of the universe – from both near and far. Rochester native and composer, Marko Bajzer, joins Rochester Symphony to present new music celebrating the 50th anniversary of Voyageurs National Park. Sky-Tinted Water reflects the beauty of the natural landscape and cultural history of northern Minnesota. These earthly impressions set the stage for a voyage through the solar system with Holst’s The Planets – from the warlike thunder of Mars to the ethereal calm of Neptune. Paired with stunning video exploring the wonders of outer space, this special multimedia concert takes the imagination on a journey from the ground beneath to the stars above.

Leave No Trace Trail Work at Voyageurs National Park
Give back to Voyageurs National Park by volunteering for a fun and rewarding volunteer trail work project on the Kab-Ash Trail. Volunteer activities include light trail maintenance, brushing, and related restoration work during the Voyageurs National Park Leave No Trace Spotlight. Volunteers will be introduced to Leave No Trace and learn more about stewardship education. Take action and make a difference by showing your love for the park!

Leave No Trace Spotlight
Voyageurs National Park has been selected as a 2025 Leave No Trace Spotlight. The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Team will be at Voyageurs National Park July 24-26, collaborating with hosts and partners on a variety of programs including stewardship projects, workshops, and community outreach.

Women of the Water: Eagle Encounters
Join Women of the Water, a women-only club based in Crane Lake, and Juli Ponder, Voyageurs Conservancy Board Member and former director of the University of Minnesota Raptor Center, for a unique opportunity to learn about eagle populations and research in Voyageurs National Park. Juli will lead the group to known nesting locations, with the potential to observe both adult eagles and their young eaglets in the wild.
